Recently, Hangzhou City's latest round of lighting planning-Hangzhou City Urban Lighting Master Plan has been approved by the government. The plan covers ten major urban areas of Hangzhou, with a total area of about 8,000 square kilometers.

The biggest highlight of this round of planning is that for the first time the scope has expanded from the main urban area to the entire urban area, including Xiaoshan, Yuhang, Fuyang and Lin'an areas. The plan implements the overall unified planning on the macro level, and refines the control technology of each area on the micro level, including but not limited to a guided road lighting system, creating unique night scene themes and areas for each area.
