The project, which has a budget of 96,798.71 euros, aims to provide a suitable nighttime visual environment to roads, pedestrian areas, green areas and parking included within the roads and adjacent areas, which until now did not have any kind of lighting. This new facility contributes to reducing the risk of accidents on these roads, providing the area with acceptable visibility for pedestrians, their safety and that of the surrounding buildings and assets. And all this, optimizing investments, reducing operating costs, improving efficiency and energy savings and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Likewise, night light glare or light pollution is also limited, with the reduction of intrusive or annoying light.
The works, which began several weeks ago, have been carried out in the Ronda Norte, in the section between the old Iron Bridge, which communicates with the A-1232 road, and the roundabout on the road to Cregenzán, which connects with the HU-V-3532 road, in the municipality of Barbastro.
