Since the start of the "Bright Eyes and White Teeth" project, the city has successfully renovated 9,687 classrooms in 2019, 22% of the planned number.
What kind of standard does the transformation follow?
It is understood that the state has not yet issued LED lighting standards for classrooms in primary and secondary schools. Therefore, the Municipal Education Technology Center has collected relevant standards at home and abroad, focusing on the "Technical Specifications for Primary and Secondary School Classroom Lighting", Shanghai’s local standards and the Affiliated Eye of Wenzhou Medical University. The draft of local standards drafted by the Optometrist Hospital, etc., related well-known experts in the United Nations held several expert demonstration meetings. Through repeated discussions, revisions and improvements, the technical parameters of the classroom lighting renovation at the level of Wenzhou City were finally formed, and pioneer Technical requirements such as "the test report of the same set of lamps and lanterns shall include at least 6 indicators such as blue light hazards". This unique characteristic approach has been used for reference by Jinhua City, Quzhou City and other regions.
On this basis, the Municipal Education Bureau will promote the application of LED light sources throughout the city this year.
Wenzhou City will complete the renovation of 8,000 classroom lighting equipment before the end of the summer vacation at the end of August to ensure that the school opens normally. In addition, the testing standards have been upgraded this year to implement the "Four Testing and Four Verifications", that is, before and after the construction of the model room, during the sample installation process, and after the installation is completed, testing units with national qualifications will be arranged for professional testing and verification.
This year, Wenzhou City will take the lead in the research and release of the local standards for the "Wenzhou Primary and Secondary School and Kindergarten Classroom Lighting Technical Specifications" among prefecture-level cities across the country.
