How many years is the life of lead-acid batteries?

The life of lead-acid batteries is generally about 3-5 years.
Ordinary batteries are also called lead-acid batteries. Its electrodes are made of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. The main advantage is stable voltage and low price; the disadvantage is frequent daily maintenance. Lead-acid batteries generally have a life span of about 2 years, and the height of the electrolyte needs to be checked regularly and distilled water is added.
Lead-acid batteries are mainly composed of tubular positive plates, negative plates, electrolyte, separators, battery tanks, battery covers, poles, and liquid injection covers. The electrodes of vented batteries are made of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid.

Lead-acid water batteries are mostly used in tractors, tricycles, car starting, etc., while maintenance-free lead-acid batteries have a wider range of applications, including uninterruptible power supplies, electric vehicle power, electric bicycle batteries, etc. Lead-acid batteries are divided into constant current discharge (such as uninterruptible power supply) and instantaneous discharge (such as car starter batteries) according to application requirements.
Precautions for use
1. Avoid direct contact between the battery and the metal container, and use acid-proof and heat-resistant materials, otherwise it will cause smoke or burning.
2. Use the specified charger to charge under specified conditions, otherwise it may cause the battery to overheat, deflate, leak, burn or rupture.
3. Do not install the battery in a sealed device, otherwise the device may be broken.
4. When using the battery in medical equipment, please install a backup power supply other than the main power supply to avoid damage caused by the main power supply failure.
5. Keep the battery away from equipment that can produce sparks, otherwise the sparks may cause the battery to smoke or rupture.
6. When the number of batteries in the application exceeds one, please ensure that the battery specifications and parameters are completely consistent, and choose a unified brand and batch as much as possible. Make sure that the connection between the batteries is correct, and the connection with the charger or load is correct, otherwise it will cause the battery to rupture, burn or damage the battery, and in some cases it will hurt people.
7. Do not place the battery near a heat source (such as a transformer), otherwise it will cause the battery to overheat, leak, burn or rupture.
8. The battery is generally heavier, so take special care not to drop the battery on your feet.
