Compared to LEDs in ceramic packages, the P 3030 in the epoxy housing is a more robust component with a longer lifetime—as much as 70,000 hours. Further, its universal contact pad design allows ceramic components to be replaced easily.High-power Osconiq P 3030 LEDs offer a color rendering index (CRI) of either 70 or 80. The CRI 70 version is available in color temperatures ranging from 2700 K to 6500 K, while the CRI 80 version covers a range of 2200 K to 5000 K. Both LED models have compact dimensions of 3.0×3.0 mm and a height of just 1.63 mm.
The 1 mm2 chip in the CRI 70 version provides a luminous flux of 160 lm at 5000 K and a luminous efficacy of 161 lm/W. The same specifications for the CRI 80 version are 135 lm at 3000 K and 136 lm/W. Each type can be operated with a current of up to 1.3 A.
These white LEDs will be joined later this year by color versions in deep blue (450 nm), blue (470 nm), true green (528 nm), red (623 nm), hyper red (660 nm) and far red (730 nm) for professional horticulture and outdoor lighting.
